Cage Assemblies
Needle roller bearing cage assemblies are mainly divided into two categories: radial needle roller cage assemblies and thrust needle roller cage assemblies, covering more than ten common models in total.
1. Radial Needle Roller Cage Assemblies
Mainly used to bear radial loads and widely applied in rotary and swinging working conditions. It includes 8 core models:
K / KS Series: Basic single-row type. K stands for solid cage and KS for split cage, composed of single-row precision needles and carbon steel cages. Easy to assemble and disassemble, suitable for general heavy radial load, medium and low speed applications. Split type marked with suffix D is available for difficult installation scenarios.
KK / KKS Series: Double-row upgraded version with reinforced cages. Its load capacity is nearly 80% higher than single-row types, ideal for heavy-duty high-radial-load equipment. ZW type double-row needle and cage assemblies are also available for high-load double-row working conditions.
KZK / KBK Series: Professional customized types. KZK is for crank pins and KBK for piston pins. Adopting lightweight compact cages and high-precision short needles, they feature compact structure and strong shock resistance, perfectly matching high-frequency reciprocating motion inside automobile engines.
KT / KTW Series: General high-speed types. KT uses carbon steel cages while KTW adopts engineering resin cages (glass fiber reinforced PA66 optional). Super-finished needles ensure low friction, suitable for high-speed and low-noise precision machinery. SORT suffix indicates strict needle tolerance grade.
WJ Series: Inch standard type with the same structure as K series, manufactured in inch sizes with micron-level precision, compatible with imported and exported equipment. KNL long cylindrical roller cage assemblies are designed for long-stroke radial load occasions.
2. Thrust Needle Roller Cage Assemblies
Specially designed for axial load bearing, featuring ultra-thin structure and large axial bearing capacity in line with national standards. There are 3 mainstream models:
AXK Series: Basic ultra-thin type, composed of flat window-type cages and short cylindrical needles with overall thickness only 2-3 mm. Used for unidirectional axial load in narrow installation space, can be matched with thrust washers for higher stability.
KAXK Series: Reinforced thrust type with thickened cages and denser needles for greatly improved load capacity, applicable to heavy-duty axial load equipment. Optimized pocket structure facilitates assembly and improves overall performance.
AX Series: Inner-ring-free thrust type, which directly takes equipment end face as raceway to save installation space. It fits ultra-compact structural design and can be used together with drawn cup needle bearings for shafts without quenching and grinding treatment.
